About Dr Hoey
Dr. James Hoey is a specialist in Orthodontics for adults and children. He is registered on the Register of Dental Specialists in Orthodontics with the Irish Dental Council.
Dr. James Hoey is a 1980 graduate form Trinity College Dublin school of dentistry. Following graduating he practiced general dentistry for several years in both Ireland and England. During this time he developed a special interest in orthodontics. He returned to full time study of orthodontics following acceptance to the 3 year post graduate Master of Orthodontics programme at University of Liverpool, Liverpool Dental Hospital. While in residency at Liverpool Dental Hospital he also attained success in Membership in Orthodontics exams at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. On graduating in orthodontics he returned to Ireland to work as a specialist orthodontist.
The Lucan Orthodontic practice was established by Dr. Hoey in 1999 at Beech Park House.
